Application

MI cable is primarily used for high-temperature environments or safety-critical signal and power systems; however, it can additionally be used within a tenanted area, carrying electricity supplied and billed to the landlord.

Applications

This products is suitable for lines with rated voltage of 0.6/1KV and below,and is widely used in nuclear power plants,metallurgy,chemical  industry,mines,kilns  and  other  dangerous,harsh  and  high-temperature  environments.

In recent years,it has also been used in high-rise buildings,airports,docks,underground railways and other places to ensure the uninterrupted operation of fire pumps,fire elevators,local lighting,emergency evacuation instructions, security monitoring,smoke prevention systems and self-provided power supplies and other fire protection electricity and important equipment in the event of a fire.

Product characteristics

1)No need to wear a separate pipe when laying,and it has the same waterproof and impact proof functions as BTT
2)The maximum rated temperature for cable conductors is 125℃
3)The product can be produced 1 to 37 cores in 1.5 to 6 mm²specifications,1 to 5 cores in 10 to 240 mm²specifications,and single core in 300 to 630 mm²
4)The cable has passed the three tests of C,W and E in the BS6387,which can maintain the integrity of the circuit during the fire
5)Good functions of anti-rat,anti-ant and anti-radiation,which can ensure the stability,long life and durability of the cable
6)Low operating temperature,small line loss,strong anti-overload ability,long service life and high safety,especially suitable for applications in projects with environmental protection requirements
7)Corrosion-resistant (the metal sheath of the BTLY model mineral insulated cable is highly corrosion-resistant,and for most installations,it does not require additional protective measures;Even in places where the cable's metal sheath is susceptible to chemical corrosion or heavy industrial contamination,it remains safe because the outermost layer of the cable is protected by a plastic outer sheath.
8)Explosion-proof (the highly compacted insulating material in the cable and the cable termination installed with a special glandle can prevent steam,gas and flame from entering the electrical equipment connected to the cable,so it is used in places with explosion hazard and the connection of various explosion-proof equipment and equipment.
9)High mechanical strength (BTLY mineral insulated cable is robust and durable,and can still work normally when the cable diameter is deformed by one-third,its electrical properties will not be damaged even if it is subjected to severe mechanical damage.
