ACSR is called "Aluminum Conductor Steel Reinforced ". It adopts a combined structure of aluminum core wire and steel core wire to improve the strength and load-bearing capacity of the conductor. Aluminium conductor steel reinforced cable, also called ACSR cable. Bare aluminum conductor, outer stranded high-purity aluminium with centre steel strand for reinforcement, to meet the requirement of ASTM B232 and EN 51082 and IEC 61089, used as bare overhead transmission and as primary and secondary distribution cable.
